and it will automatically calculate the agency commission in each
reservation, without agent intervention.
You may choose
from one of the following:
STANDARD
COMMISSION STRUCTURE
This option takes the commission percentage from the agency profile.
It allows you to give a different percentage to different agencies.
DUAL-LEVEL
COMMISSION
This option allows you to have two commissions for different forms
of payment. For instance, 10% for credit card payments, and 12 %
for agency check payments. Further, you are able to set these up
in the agency's profile, so that
automatically calculates the correct percentage at the time of booking,
and the agent never has to look it up.
MULTI-LEVEL
COMMISSION BY PRODUCT
This is the most flexible option. It allows you to setup the different
commission percentages for different products. For example:
- 10% On
Airfare
- 12% On
Tours
- 14% On
Cruises
- 10% On
Insurance
These are setup
by the manager and are automatically calculated by
for each reservationat booking time. In addition, the system allows
you to modify the commission in a single reservation to accommodate
for those special situations when none of the above rules apply.
For control purposes, this modification capability can be given
to all agents, or be restricted to supervisors and managers. Any
manual commission transaction and modification is recorded permanently
in the history section of the Reservationfor future reference
