Reminder System is the most effective way of communications,
reminders, quality control and follow-up procedures. You will never
have to rely on memory again!

can help you remember (and remind your agents) of things to do,
or an action that should be taken for a particular reservation.
You can remind yourself to call an airline in order to check on
a waitlist, fax a hotel for space, send a payment to vendor, etc.
The system will also remind you of things to do, such as collect
payments, send documents, pay travel agency credit card commission,
and more...
GENERAL Reminders
The General Reminders are general to all agents and departments.
These reminders are the ones that the system has determined that
you need to be aware of. There ere are 15 queues and they include:
- Deposit Due
- Final Payment
Due
- Price Quote
Followup
- Travel Agency
Commission Due
- Incoming
Internet Booking
- Price Change
- Advise Air
Ticketing Deadline
- And 0thers...
These reminders
are loaded automatically every morning according to the initial
setup that you specify; i.e., you may set up the system so that
deposits are due 7 days after booking, final payment is due 45 days
before departure, and agency CC commission is to be paid 30 days
after return. Each day the system searches all active reservations,
finds the ones with the above qualifications, and loads them on
the respective queue. Much like the CRS' queues, you are able to
work the individual PNRs from within the queue, and delete them
when you have taken the necessary action.
PERSONAL
Reminders
These are 85 queues which can be assigned to an individual or a
department. PNRs can be placed on these queues manually along with
a message from the person who is placing the PNR to the person receiving
it. For instance, agent David may place a PNR on agent Judy's queue
along with a message saying: "Judy Please Fed Ex documents ASAP!"
Or an agent in training may place a PNR on a supervisor's queue
with a message: "Please check prices before I confirm to agency.

FUTURE Reminders
Placement
In
addition to instantly placing a PNR on queue, you may also place
a PNR to come up on a specific queue on a future date. Much like
the instant placement, you may also send a message along with the
PNR. This feature is great when you wish to remind yourself to take
an action on a future date, or to have another agent do so. For
instance, you may place a PNR to come up on Judy's queue in 21 days
with a message saying: "Judy, Please call AA to check on waitlist"
This is an excellent way to assign tasks to agents ahead of time
when you know you will be out of the office.
